The Enforcement Office is to return 1.2 million lekë to Artan Basha, accused of Kaloshi's murder
Yesterday, the Tirana Prosecutor's Office signed the acquittal of the man who had been called the murderer of Bujar Kaloshi, Director General of Prisons of Albania. The Enforcement Office must now return the sum of 1.2 million lekë to the accused, Basha.
Basha had been arrested four days after the murder of the country's Director of Prisons. From the outset of the accusation, he rejected it, insisting and swearing that he was not the killer they were looking for.
But it took four months in prison and the discovery of the real culprits for him to be acquitted.
