The end of the four-month game with the party roundtable

. The criminal joined forces with the thief. The gang is now complete. The curtain has fallen! The spectators are bewildered, frightened and more confused than ever. After four months of talks at the roundtable of 10 parties, we find ourselves facing a frightening reality. One day before the elections, we know that on 29 June we will elect the next parliamentarians under a law even worse than that of 1996. The game is over! Political impotence and naivety led the so-called “small parties” to crawl[?] through the labyrinths set up by the two giants, the PS and the PD. Playing the role of mothers doting on their little ones, they took them into their laps, one at a time, feeding them with the bottle of deception. One offered them proportional representation, the other the premiership; the other offered 75% and won the majoritarian system. Prostitution is an old social wound, but pity the one who has two whores at his door. Thus, the next parliament will be like the previous one, but with the roles reversed: the “little ones” will be represented by one or two seats, just enough to make a statement or be a bullet fired into the air. Bashkim Fino and Belul Çelo felt so happy when the “Berisha”-brand cassette recorder overturned the proportional law that they could not contain themselves and embraced in front of the Council of Ministers. Truly opponents, but brothers. The [unclear] are all alike, no matter what waters they are fished from. When they smell the bait, they don’t care what they bite. Their fierce egoism, their lust for personal power and party rule, have deep roots in the feudal Middle Ages of their monarchist origins, but their goal justifies the means. Monstrousness, treachery and baseness, a total lack of responsibility and even the slightest conscience about the nation’s fate, crocodile tears: these are the tools of these monsters, who trample every kind of morality and norm of human dignity underfoot for their own interests. The thief joined forces with the spouse by name. The thief joined forces with the criminal! Now the gang is complete. It can carry out every operation to carve up and devour this piece of land that has been suffering for hundreds of years. Many men have tried to make this land Albania and these people a nation, but few have succeeded. Now it seems that very few such men remain, and nobody listens to those who are left. Those who shout and howl, those who gather a few thousand people for five hours and wear themselves out screaming that they want so-and-so, as they once wanted so-and-so; those who spit on one another in public and engage in perversions behind the scenes, do not care about Albania or the nation. They want to carry through to the end the task begun by their criminal fathers. Those who shed endless tears and stage endless protests for some little politician who gets slapped, or some street thug who gets hit with a tambourine, know about the thousands of Albanians; they block their way and don’t care about the thousands of Albanians—children, women, young people and old people—who are maimed every day for reasons known only to God. They want the armchairs. They want parliament. They want Albania as a commodity for bargaining, even without Albanians. May God grant them a silver sinew! Amen!
