. The convergence of diplomatic positions between Tirana and Prishtina is an imperative necessity. For the national issue not to be dealt with spontaneously and become a victim of paternalistic positions, a common platform between the legitimate representatives of Kosovo and representatives of the political spectrum in the mother state must be drawn up and implemented. This was the essence of the conclusions reached at yesterday’s meeting of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, chaired by Mr Godo. Foreign Minister Milo, before representatives of the six parliamentary political forces, clarified the latest official statements on the Kosovo issue, seeking to justify the formula of dialogue in relations between the Albanian government and Belgrade. Thus, the Kosovo issue is being placed at the centre of political debate. The round table of political parties is expected to institutionalize all debates concerning Kosovo and the acute problems linked to the national issue. “An all-Albanian strategy for a free Kosovo” was the message of the Parliamentary Committee meeting. The integrity of Albanian diplomacy’s ideas must be guided by the philosophy of justice and rationality, not by a feeling of blind faith. In Kosovo, one cannot call merely for a general approach to respecting human rights, or speak of a “community.” As a distinct and organized Albanian entity, Kosovo cannot coexist with the Serbian regime. International diplomacy has by now also declared its support for expanded autonomy for the Albanians of Kosovo.
