Justice in the game of politics

Justice is being drawn into the propaganda game of those in power. Political revenge is exploiting the judicial power, which has yet to become consolidated, to give a kind of “democratic legitimacy” to the phenomenon of devaluing respect for the law. The Prosecutor General, perhaps prompted and pressed by his political bosses, was inclined to comment directly on crimes “remaining at the attempted stage,” involving members of the former DP administration. Explicit motives for active participation in public life cannot exempt senior officials of the judiciary from political activity.
