. The true Albanian right wing showed yesterday that it does not engage in underground politics. It is less concerned with power than with the fate of democracy and the legal institution. The challenge of criminality, which Albania is facing today, was judged by the political forces to be the most ominous threat to the future. This was why the round table of political parties, disregarding the divisions between left and right, as it had in March of last year, returned to its democratic disposition and ro- does not discriminate against any side and sets no limits on the logic of groupings. Judging anarchy and criminality to be the end of every kind of civic coexistence, indeed the end of every attempt to build a state governed by the rule of law, the political forces of DBSH offered the powerful message that the wisdom of the present moment lies in setting party ideologies aside and declaring positions united against manifestations of crime. Today, what is essential is not to impose this or that political doctrine, since all doctrines are perfect in their own way. The most urgent thing is to save the lives of Albanians, to prevent civil conflicts by every means, and to build the institutions of the state. All other discussions expose the vanity of labels.
