30 deputies meet with Vano at home
The government against the constitutional state
By Arben ILIAZI More than 30 deputies from the new legislature and the previous parliament, after the interest shown in recent days in the situation created by the departure of the prime minister who had left office and the decision not to present him due to the lack of consensus, gathered yesterday to discuss the recently created parliamentary crisis. The meeting between the deputies took place at 15:00 in the premises of the home of the chairman of the Socialist Party, Vano. According to participants in the meeting, even after this meeting the initiative to solve the crisis remained unresolved and the opposition did not present any solution for getting out of the political impasse. The deputies' meeting aimed to discuss the situation created in the Assembly and the need to express the opposition's position on the latest political developments, especially regarding the normal functioning of the country's highest legislative institution. According to sources from the meeting, the deputies expressed concern that if the internal problems of the parliamentary group and the governing coalition are left unresolved, this could lead to a new situation of destabilization. The participants asked that constitutional rules be respected and political impositions avoided. It was also emphasized that through mutual consultations a way must be found to avoid all prejudices in the interest of the proper functioning of parliament. How was the response divided regarding the president's interest? It was emphasized that at the meeting the deputies asked for the new government to be freed through dialogue from the conflict. No concrete agreement was reached and it was left for contacts to continue in the coming days. The meeting lasted several hours and took place in a tense political atmosphere.
