EDI RAMA, THE MAIN DESTROYER WHO DEMOLISHED INSTITUTIONS

By Jui Prifti The seeds of Edi Rama’s sick, pathological hatred against institutions and everything national had as their aim the disruption of the capital’s peace by vindictive crowds, but fortunately, the opposite role and that of the man who had stirred up the atmosphere of turmoil and agitation inside the state institutions would prove to be unnecessary. The demolition, by order, of the Top-it clocks, with a grotesque rage intended to frighten citizens, was followed by another similar act of vandalism involving the prefecture building. Edi Rama and his team of hawks secretly did as they had done in the battle sites: they forced the grilles on the doors and windows of the prefecture and set it on fire. The prefecture building was engulfed in a large fire that, if not extinguished in time, would certainly have burned down the building of the PÇ as well. Taken over by the police forces, the notice about the criminal abandonment of the prefecture building also involves the persons who took part in this serious incident. It is publicly known that, in preference to violence, and directly encouraged and inspired by Edi Rama, is also the harsh behavior of the opposition through the door-writers. A concrete example is that on 6 October 1999, the owner of a café near the prefecture had seen, under Rama’s direction, several people gathered at the entrance of the building laughing and saying that “Tobi” was burning in the fire. On the morning of 7 October, when they were spotted by prefecture staff, the arsonist was found in a hopeless state, without nervous control. This undeniable fact constitutes another political provocation by Edi Rama aimed at stirring up the crowds and destabilizing the country.
