EDITORIAL By Genci ÇOBANI The latest decision by KESH to ration electricity (during this period electricity is used only for lighting and cooking) cannot be said to suit the current government more than anyone else. Especially when one considers that this measure, drastic as it is, is being taken at a time when Socialist candidates for heads of local government units, particularly Edi Rama in Tirana, are promising to solve the problems people face. The sun can no longer be covered with a sieve, and the total darkness into which this country has now plunged—not only figuratively—can no longer be pierced with words and campaign slogans. In winter, the blame was officially always placed on excessive energy consumption; people were even urged not to use electricity for heating. In summer this argument is not mentioned, but t... Three people bloodied over a horse Two women who were stabbed and a 65-year-old man have been taken in serious condition to the Surgery Department in Durrës, after being stabbed and struck with other objects by 40-year-old Nazmi Kalemi, a resident of Durrës’ neighborhood No. 14, who had previously been convicted for assault. The chief of Has is accused in connection with 70 cars The investigative file prepared against the chief of Has contains documents proving that Commissioner Peca is involved in car trafficking and the falsification of official documents for around 70 cars. This fact was confirmed by two people from this district, who were arrested in the act on Monday just one kilometer from the Dobrun border crossing, inside Kosovo territory.
