The path of madness and chaos
How does the state function in Albania? How does the state act even when important people break the law? The President of the Republic, having only the right to appoint and dismiss prefects and diplomats, has arrogantly interfered in an administrative procedure to disqualify his own son. If a minister or even a deputy of Parliament had acted that way, he would at least have received a moral reprimand from the Prime Minister and perhaps even been forced to resign. There are laws, and every state body must enforce them regardless of who the specific people affected by those laws are. In order to have a country with rules and freedom, there must be laws and independent bodies that create and protect those freedoms.
Precisely this did not happen when the intervention of the President’s office was mentioned in the disqualification of his son, a case in which manipulation of documents by the competitors for the place of the high-school student is suspected. The loser in Tirana, expelled and underestimated in Ullinj, but that did not happen with Mr. Mejdani’s son after the intervention of the President’s office. Only later did it become known that the winner at the school should also have taken a second competition, although such a thing was contrary to the rules of the Olympiad and to the announcement of the competition results. According to ministry reports, the President’s son has not been deprived of any right, not only because the place he took in the electoral process and the true winner should have and the final other for certification in the National Commission for the growing progress. Meta, we want free elections
Further in Albania, memory is turned back to the closed doors of slander against unprotected and anonymous people, especially against former members of the opposition.
According to sources from the President’s office, in one of the points of the “culmination”, it shows that the boy has not been disciplined as much as the failed competition either. It was a finding of the basis of the process and the division with other high matters fortunately the government of yesterday and today.
According to what was said, reflected in the statement of state officials, this has to be taken up again with rigid representative decisions against the use of names and violence against people who only bear the truth. No high institution can turn into an instrument for lack of merit or lack of rights.
