TESTIMONY OF ALT CENSAS / Someone may have entered through the house corridor
CARLO BOLLINO
TIRANA — “No … I did not notice any movement of people or vehicles in the courtyard of the prime minister’s villa.” Asked by the prosecutor what he had observed more specifically at 9 o’clock, when the investigative team and doctors happened to arrive at the prime minister’s villa, Alti Censas replies: “At that time, while I was guarding the side courtyard by the gate to the yard, no one entered through the main entrance gate.”
Is there any possibility, the prosecutor continues, that someone entered the villa without informing you? “Yes,” Censas answers, “they may have come in through the house corridor, because that corridor connects with the house where the escorts stayed and could not be seen from the checkpoint in the yard.”
The testimony of the former bodyguard Alti Censas is of great value, because it clarifies the movements and actions of the security staff in the early hours of 18 December 1981 and proves that nobody entered through the main part of the villa. If someone did enter the building, he could only have done so through the internal corridor.
