KRUJE - Lindi and Kristi wake the house. It sounds like the beginning of a fairytale, but in fact it is a sad story: the effort of two babies to win the first battle of their lives, the idea of experiencing a home. Now, after three months in the hospital, their full story has been published by Gazeta Shqiptare through several pages of the report “Autumn in the orphanage”. The Assembly awaits the little ones from Kruja there. Lindi and Kristi can no longer stay in the hospital, near the nurses who raised them for three months in a row as if they were their own children. Their life will begin again in the northern city. The third child, handed over on the road by a friend from the Health Directorate, Lindi and Kristi were accompanied in a car that was taking them toward their new home. - The baby, before, had been born in a sheet by a woman who had the courage to register the memory of the cradle. In fact, the young mother had been found by a very ill midwife with a rescued cradle. The nearby bond had been only the fruit of an unhappy love. The mother kept trying to show that apparently no memory of that bitter time remained; by then she had lost another life. Thus two babies were found united in a shared fate, who would normally be linked only by their birthplace. After the first months, efforts had begun to find them a place in a photograph of Durrës, but help had been found from several hands and eyes: “There is still no ...”, until finally two writers were found to be released also for Lindi and Kristi. Now, the two babies and the solidarity of water have brought help to these orphaned, parentless children. ROME - The Rome prosecutor’s office is investigating a trade in credit certificates between Italy and Albania. The same investigations are being carried out by Italian foreign secret services (SISMI) concerning the mysterious suicide of Commissioner Short. The financial investigation and the death of agent Mario Ferraro now seem to have uncovered common threads. Ferraro’s wife, Maria Antonietta Viali, had suspicions and was questioned yesterday morning by Rome prosecutor Nello Rossi, who, according to reports from the agency and the press, mentioned among other things a “suspicious” trade abroad (especially with Albania) in state-issued credit instruments. Prosecutor Rossi has effectively verified that there is indeed an investigation into this trafficking: it has been led for a year by another Roman investigator who just these days decided to start proceedings against several defendants. Prosecutor Rossi has therefore decided to ask his colleague to check that file to verify whether - among the names recorded - there may be people linked to the Mario Ferraro case. It seems that it was Ferraro himself - who worked in Albania - who discovered this illegal trade and reported it.
