Earthquake shakes the city of Berat

The tremors lasted a few seconds, but so did the interrupted lunch of the citizens Earthquake shakes the city of Berat It was 3.5 "harmless" Richter BERAT - Southern Albania once again under the fever of tremors from one side to the other. Yesterday at 14:00 it was the earth's turn. An earthquake shook Berat, and the residents of that city stopped [?] as the movement of the earth beneath their feet reversed. Although only of a low magnitude and without any significant damage, the tremor was felt by the citizens, by the inhabitants of Berat, especially those who were sitting in cafés and restaurants for lunch. Thus Berat was an unsettled city, which felt one tremor after another. At 14:10 yesterday, in the center of a mile and a half [?], an earthquake was felt. The tremors lasted a few seconds and their direction seems to have been west-east. Reports of damage, apart from the panic caused among citizens, were not recorded. According to city sources, it was thought that the tremors may have been above three degrees. Official sources say, citing the Meteorological Institute, that the tremors reached 3.5 on the Richter scale. Southern Albania is an area sensitive from a seismological point of view. Thus earthquakes with their epicenter in Albanian territory have been a reflective echo of tremors in Greece. But after Gjirokastër, Tepelenë and Saranda, now it was Berat's turn. Halit Tafa Berat
