TIRANE - People who would rather die frightened than live frozen in the Adriatic, than experience the ruthless economic lack of means, the absence of hope and the promises made to their loved ones who have long been working on foreign soil; young people who still try not to know up close the horror that is often raised like a disappointing dream, stubbornly and headstrong in what are considered rubber boats... continue to make the attempt endlessly. Meanwhile, in the newspapers, and this must be strongly emphasized, we continue to note with deep pain that nearby, which leads us to transmit to readers with notes of sadness.
The tragedy on Monday has now passed; the bodies of the 17 dead are mingled with the past. News coming from the Italian coasts confirms that rescue is impossible and little by little everyone is being lost. Italian sea authorities are raising grim events and Albanians who risk life and limb. Missionaries among the Hope of Italy are always waiting, in fear and concern for the rescue of the young people who may have survived.
Little by little, although lives have been lost, the authorities continue to send information about a phenomenon that is not taking on other dimensions and Albanians who risk life and limb. Missionaries among the Hope of Italy are always waiting, in fear and concern for the rescue of the young people who may have survived.
Boats from Albania continue to land people who risk their lives simply for human reasons. The problem is on a total scale, not only the two states which now tired of ecology every day say they are leaving; it must become more serious for the problem of the city that is penetrating our state day and night, sending its city sad news.

A request that will very soon be presented to the head of state himself. The decision was made yesterday at a long meeting of the Albanian Right-wing League, which decided to place Republican leader Sabri Godo at its head.

The Bible “helps” the poor of Korça
KORÇE - The Bible comes down to Korça. What people seldom remember to do in the name of human dignity, the Korça prefecture has at least taken upon itself to publicize as “help” for humanitarian organizations. “In following the great passion of the Christian holy book, ‘Help the one who is to be helped’ how? enemies of people have appealed to citizens to donate a sum of money to help the city’s poor.
“Help so that you can be helped. Citizens help citizens.” These are the first words with which the collection bags begin, on cheerful notices placed near the doors of Korça citizens. Monetary support for poor families, each of whom is to receive 2 food packages, one for Christmas and one for Easter, each worth 2,000 lek. This is the goal of a new humanitarian project, implemented locally under the biblical principle “Help so that you can be helped.”
This is an initiative of a humanitarian organization, “PORKAS ADI INTERNATIONAL”, which has been carrying out its activity for several years in the Prefecture of Korça. Letters have been sent to Korça citizens who are thought to be at a good economic level. Each of them should send a clearer sum of money to help a poor family

Yesterday in Fushë-Gurë, American marines suffered their first “defeat” in the Balkans
Their deployment to Bosnia has never officially been acknowledged.
Yankee soldiers and helicopters “surrender” to the bad weather
FUSHE-GURE - A snowstorm forced the American marines to interrupt the training that had begun, according to military sources, in the isolated mountains of northern Albania. Asked whether the interruption had been made three days before the deployment of US troops to Bosnia, Military Commander Dennis Fox said: “There is no change in the orders. This is simply a security measure.” He told Reuters that low-flying helicopters and snowstorms made helicopter flights and landings extremely difficult. Therefore, according to Fox, “the marines interrupted the training not because they could not cope with the bad weather, but because they did not want to take risks.” John Stone, the field commander, also informed that the maneuvers in Fushë-Gurë, involving a force of 350 men, did not admit that the training in such severe cold was being carried out as part of the preparatory plans for their imminent deployment to Bosnia, within the framework of the international peace force. According to Fox, the helicopters began transporting the marines from the mountains of Fushë-Gurë to an American point on the Albanian coast. According to US military sources quoted by Reuters, hopes that these soldiers, one by one, would head for the coast in the area of the Albanians near the rooster, had been truly prearranged. Here the marines, subjected to their first test in the Balkans, suffered their first “loss”.
