TIRANA - The assault in front of the American embassy has left one person dead and at least two others wounded. One of the wounded men, who managed to escape the bullets of the American guard, told Gazeta Shqiptare the whole story of that day. According to him, the armed group hid in the Llogjen forest and then headed toward the embassy. He says the attack failed because of the guards' quick reaction. Iliesku again, in Skopje after 48 years

Qorri) TIRANA - One of the figures who, in a meaningful way, turned it into a satellite republic under communist leadership is returning to Albania after half a century. Iliesku arrived yesterday in Tirana and will carry out a one-day official visit to our country. At Rinas Airport he was welcomed by President Rexhep Meidani. This is the first visit by a Romanian head of state to Albania. During his stay, Iliesku will meet with the highest leaders of the Albanian state.
