He has been prevented from leaving for Montenegro, and now he is left with no citizenship at all, neither Albanian nor Montenegrin. Letters addressed to the People's Assembly and the President of the Republic are proof of the desperate efforts of a man looking for a country in which to live. The lack of Albanian citizenship has truly been a major source of misfortune for Sllovenko Xhudoviq. Since July 1995 he has not been receiving social assistance. According to a decision of the Municipal Council of the Elbasan district, because he is not an Albanian citizen, he has also been denied the right to receive economic support from the state.
