Cries, work and poison in the blood
Industry still a danger for workers
TIRANA - More than 27,000 people are employed in industries where, because of difficult conditions and exposure to harmful substances, their health is seriously at risk. Based on classifications according to European Union standards, the Women's Association has carried out a study analyzing the main risks faced by employees in various enterprises. According to this study, in the chromium, copper and coal extraction industries, in the wood-processing and textile industries, as well as in the chemical industry, workers face serious health problems.

The government shortens the deadline
TIRANA - The families of Kosovo Albanians housed in Albania are finding it difficult to move into the homes where they will be accommodated. Only a quarter of the houses will be vacated soon, since some families are still living where they were temporarily placed. According to the data, around 2,000 families will have to wait several more months to receive new homes. Under emergency conditions, it has been decided to extend the deadline for vacating the houses until the end of the year.
