Cries, work and poison in the blood

Industry still a danger for workers TIRANA - More than 27,000 people are employed in industries where, because of difficult conditions and exposure to harmful substances, their health is seriously at risk. Based on classifications according to European Union standards, the Women's Association has carried out a study analyzing the main risks faced by employees in various enterprises. According to this study, in the chromium, copper and coal extraction industries, in the wood-processing and textile industries, as well as in the chemical industry, workers face serious health problems. Work and poison in the blood Hundreds of workers in industry, the vast majority of whom also suffer from lead and chromium poisoning. In the chromium and copper extraction industry, employees are exposed to toxic dust and fumes. In the wood, textile and processing industries, ventilation conditions and the lack of protective equipment make workplaces a source of occupational diseases. On page 3

The refugees’ Albanians will be settled by the end of the year

The government shortens the deadline TIRANA - The families of Kosovo Albanians housed in Albania are finding it difficult to move into the homes where they will be accommodated. Only a quarter of the houses will be vacated soon, since some families are still living where they were temporarily placed. According to the data, around 2,000 families will have to wait several more months to receive new homes.
