The government seeks a change in the law in order to lower diesel prices TIRANA - The government has asked Parliament to urgently amend the law under which the “Road Maintenance Fund” operates, with the aim of bringing down diesel prices. As soon as the law is approved by Parliament, the government will lower the tax on fuel, with the effect that this move will lead to a further decrease in diesel prices.
