Krujë, "Toto Elections" are born

Lottery slips with the names of the parties KRUJË - Electoral oddity in Albania. With the election results still uncertain, you can still win. A large group of friends in Krujë have come up with "Toto Elections". The slips prepared with modern ingredients have replaced football betting slips. Instead of the names of the teams, all the parties have been put in. Filling out the slip has involved percentage predictions of how the electoral subjects will do in the vote. Each person has bought a slip for 500 lekë, and the one who collects the most points will also be the winner of the special lottery. Meanwhile, another oddity has occurred further north. In a village in Kukës an electoral commission has even been set up with dead people. A 1 11-year-old [...?] in polling station 36 of the area, where the party representatives of Melos, for the commission, has seated a person who has been dead for a long time. In Krujë the municipality gives no explanation, but says it will also verify other cases. Thus a woman over 90 years old was believed to have been given four votes. The elderly woman’s name appears to have been written on four different voter lists.
