The pyramids, here is the unknown side

The mysteries of usury in the Prosecutor’s Office files. Here is what the state did to try to stop the financial catastrophe Letters from a year of correspondence between the Bank and the Government are revealed. Dozens of documents from former governor Luniku addressed to Meksi, Berisha and the companies themselves TIRANA - "The usuries will be sustained for a long time and the consequences will be catastrophic" - the end of the pyramid warning had already been announced in January 1996. The Bank of Albania, the Government, the Ministry of Finance and the Albanian state itself knew the tragic end of these financial organizations. There is a series of letters exchanged between former Governor Luniku, former Prime Minister Meksi, the Minister of Finance and other high-ranking figures. What was happening inside the state while the pyramids flourished and were swallowing billions of lek day by day? The correspondence, which is now in the foundations’ file and will be made public if the case goes to court, shows that the state felt the earthquake, but its efforts appear to have been disproportionate. Everything was such that it was impossible to change in order to avoid the end. Among the first protests against usury at Sudja On page 7

"Whoever leaves the camp returns to the homeland"

Italy, measure for illegal migrants ROME - Albanian emigrants in Italy who have left the "reception centres" will be returned and sent back to their country. The above announcement comes from the Undersecretary of the Interior, Giancola [?] Sinisi. During a statement on RAI, the senior official said that on this matter the government will soon issue a special directive. Meanwhile, as for the emigrants who have remained in the "reception centres", by accepting Italian humanitarian assistance for them, not only will repatriation not be carried out in a gradual manner over time, but also through cooperation with the Albanian authorities possibilities will be examined for them to go back to Italy and in the future secure temporary work permits. According to the Undersecretary of the Interior, Giancola Sinisi, the repatriation plan is almost ready, at least as far as the Italian side is concerned. Only a few points are missing from this plan, for which consultation with the Albanian side is necessary. Meanwhile, the number of Albanians who every day try to leave for the neighboring country keeps growing. Over the years, large waves have made the Albanian presence in Italy as large as an army moving in the country’s waves. Some have managed to get jobs, temporarily regularizing their residence documents, but many others are in complete lack of documents and face the constant risk of being caught by the police. There are many illegal migrants for whom seasonal employment would be much more advantageous. On this issue, it is expected that for some time now the two neighboring governments have been discussing the possibility of creating a free circulation of Albanians in Italy.

"This weapon is your calm"

The armoured vehicle of "advertising" in front of the police station MISSION OF THE MILITARY ARMOURED VEHICLES: "WE HELP YOU" TIRANA - "The police serves you", "The police protects you" - now the mission of the blue uniforms, to maintain order, has been displayed on the "back" of its vehicles as well. Just as the armoured cars still bear letters in large type stating what the police is duty-bound to do. And, for the first time, an armoured bus was brought in, on both sides of which was clearly written: "The police serves you" and "The police protects you". It was placed in front of the Police Directorate on the current road much more than at a time when it was supposed to be a "mannequin" to advertise its mission with the calm needed to ensure smooth order. For most people it is now clear that the police not only infuses, but also has enough weapons and armed closures, order and calm for them. Because the Police Directorate in Tirana has written that and at every rally, where the police is charged with ensuring order and calm for politics, there have been incidents and the policemen who have paid the most have been involved. And while the mission all this kind, from one person to another who should protect them. P[o?] nevertheless now it has written it on its "back". "The police protects you" - seems more like a call to citizens who have so far dared to raise weapons against the police uniforms. The differently painted police armoured vehicles (Photo: P.
