Tirana Court: first trial postponed TIRANA - The trial of Maksude Kademi, nicknamed Sudja, began yesterday at the Tirana Court. However, because she was absent, the trial was postponed until 16 July. Economy TIRANA - In June, the consumer-goods market dealt another painful blow to the budget and living standards of Albanian consumers. It seems that, along with the fascist election slogans, the prices of the overwhelming majority of everyday goods have also soared. According to a statistic from the Institute of Statistics, the inflation indicator for June—the month of the electoral battle for power—rose by 5.41 percent compared with May. After these figures were recorded, inflation for this year stood at an increase of 28.02 percent compared with December of last year.
