Berisha with his wings clipped
FALCON
“I invite my opponents to chew over their lies, because an imminent defeat awaits them” — these are the words of Democratic leader Berisha at his latest press conference. Berisha has long been warning of his opponents’ defeat and, with language similar to this phrase, has continually generated artificial conflicts. Everyone remembers his statement before the last elections, on June 29, when he said of the opposition that “it would have a smile wiped off its face.” And the Democratic leader has usually made such statements on the eve of his own personal defeats. Perhaps that is what is happening in this case too. Although Berisha views the approval of the Constitution and its adoption by a 51% majority as a success for his camp and a rejection of this project by the Albanians, support for its approval, both from European institutions and from those across the ocean, has been overwhelming. Everyone has warned more seriously than ever that if Berisha continues this way, he will become isolated.

There’s no water unless you ask for it

But the water utility staff’s appeal could do nothing but travel along the road leading to the Municipality and reach some newspaper page. But would that alone be enough for water to return and flow regularly into your home?

That is what happened on November 26 this year, when the motor pumps were suddenly found burned out, and the water utility warns the capital that this winter will truly be the most difficult.

Berisha’s allies change course: We must return to Parliament
Two parties from the “Union for Democracy” yesterday called on their ally, the DP, to return to Parliament. They said the opposition must “develop a new strategy” as soon as possible. “Staying outside Parliament serves the ruling camp’s appetite,” emphasized Teodor Laço, chairman of the Liberal Union Party. Regarding the Constitution, he said it could be improved in Parliament. “If a new draft were to be drawn up, it would necessarily require broad consensus among the political forces.”

The Gay Scandal at RTV: The “shame” of the intellectuals
The latest problem involving RTVSH director Ardian Klosi has prompted various reactions in political circles and within the visual media itself.
For the most part, Albanian politicians have chosen not to comment on the accusations made against Klosi, but some have seized the opportunity to point out the poor work of RTVSH’s management staff.
