THE NEXT BLUFF

A prosecution witness is arrested in the act in the courtroom. Because, under the law, he refuses to testify even after taking the oath; because he “insults” the authority of Justice by mocking the judges who do not wear formal robes. Up to this point, everything would sound normal. But when the witness is Perikli Teta, former Minister of Public Order, when he is summoned to court to shed light on the scandal of 14 September, when he is arrested and when he is released seven hours later, nothing sounds normal anymore. Agim Hazrolli shows us the other side of the war after returning to Prishtina from the field hospital that had been hidden in the mountains of western Kosovo until just two days ago. While the KLA men fought, he stayed behind the front line to treat the wounded, trying to erect an insurmountable barrier against death, which is always present in war.
