Dozens of trucks and vans carrying weapons and ammunition of all kinds are reported, according to reliable sources from the Anti-Mafia branch of the General Prosecutor’s Office, to have passed through northern Albania. These reports have also been confirmed by sources from SHIK, who did not wish to be identified. The border crossings in this area, which appear to have been most heavily used by arms traffickers, remain the same: Qafë-Prushi and Morinë, without excluding the hundreds of trails that can only be crossed with the help of pack animals.
