Prosecutor arrests 2 witnesses Two witnesses are arrested for false testimony in the VEFA courtroom. Osman Kushta, former pilot of Vehbi Alimuça, and Pëllumb Dervishi, former investment director at VEFA, had come to testify before the Court, but on the order of prosecutor Ajaz Gjeta they were detained by the escort squad police officers. According to Gjeta, they had made one statement when testifying at the Prosecutor’s Office and said something different yesterday before the panel of judges presided over by Gjin Gj(o)ni. Pieces of testimony implicating Alimuça in the arms trade also emerged during yesterday’s hearing.
