A monster child has been born. The baby born at the Elbasan maternity hospital has added to the number of wonders emerging from the city of metallurgists. In fact, when we were told the news, we did not believe it and immediately asked for photographs. The baby, born at 1:30 yesterday morning, astonished the team of doctors waiting for it. Resmi Balla and the director of the Elbasan maternity hospital, Shpresa Dylgjëri, were carrying out their usual routine. Their only concern that early morning was the distress of Flutura Murati, a 19-year-old girl who had arrived that day from the village of Mengël. The girl had not had an ultrasound during her first pregnancy and was anxious to know whether she would give birth to a boy or a girl. Everything else was related to some internal problems, but to the doctors these were things that also happened to many patients who came to this Elbasan maternity hospital.
