Who will hold the protest on Friday afternoon in Skënderbej Square, the PS or the PD? Both say they will go ahead at any cost, despite threats about possible consequences. The police have decided to publicly warn citizens not to pass through the center of Tirana at all on Friday afternoon. Despite the order, Albanians do not seem able to follow the well-known example of the head of government from a few days ago. Until the beginning of this week, it was not at all clear whether the PS or the PD, one of these two political parties, would be granted permission, without risking both holding it at the same time. Nevertheless, even decisions sealed in advance are difficult to implement. Perhaps because of this, the anxiety of the hours of Saturday and Sunday does not really concern voting and the law does not allow any political force to campaign. For more see page 2
