The authorities have made no effort to resolve the situation in the North By ENVER DOÇI The Bulqizë mine is seriously endangering the lives of 13 miners, who for the past two weeks have been confined in a hunger strike. Last night, around 9:20 p.m., an alarm was raised for a collapse inside the mine galleries, while 4 specialists entered the depths underground. After the checks carried out, it was learned that the ventilation pipes had burst on the 14th level, where the strikers are located. Collapse of the mine supports and blockage of the side channels were also observed. According to the specialists, the situation inside the mine is alarming and the strikers are in danger of dying inside the galleries. ... Continues on page 22
