According to the prosecution office, based on the inspection report of the General Directorate of Civil Status, the defendant had unlawfully changed the nationalities of various citizens in 294 cases. Through active unlawful acts by this defendant (entries made in the registers concerning the change of nationality, in violation of Law No. 8950, dated 10.10.2002, “On Civil Status”), 294 persons were granted unlawful benefits (acquisition of a foreign nationality), specifically Greek nationality.
