The General Prosecutor’s Office, which for months has been investigating former Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy Prifti as well as the former number two of the ministry, Leonard Beqiraj, decided to sign off on extending the investigation by another month. The news is confirmed by official sources close to the central prosecution institution, according to whom prosecutors Bujar Sheshi and Anila Leka informed the lawyers of Prifti and Beqiraj of the decision to extend the investigation deadline.
