The movement “Mjaft!” yesterday published its report on the period 1 March – 30 April regarding the monitoring of the work of the Assembly, noting the fact that 12 Socialist legislators and 10 Democrats were paid for attending committee meetings on days when they were absent. Under the law “On the status of the deputy,” the deputy’s monthly salary includes 40% of the salary for participation in plenary sessions, 50% of the salary for participation in Assembly committee meetings, and 10% of the salary for participation in other parliamentary activities. Particular attention in the “Mjaft!” report is also given to the violations observed during the voting process in plenary session. For the period 1 March – 30 April, only two deputies were identified who, contrary to the Assembly rules, voted for the colleague beside them. They are Artan Gaçi and Luiza Xhuvani, ...
