POLICE DIRECTOR, BURGAJ: SUSPECTED OF DRUG TRAFFICKING THE MP'S BROTHER Altin Isaraj caught with cocaine in Greece The relative of MP Arben Isaraj is arrested together with another person by police in the neighboring country. A quantity of drugs is found on him; suspected to be part of the network By KLODIANA LALA Altin I. Saraj is arrested in Greece. The brother of Socialist Party MP Arben Isaraj is suspected of drug trafficking. The news is confirmed by official sources within the State Police. Asked by “GSH”, the Director General of Police, Hysni Burgaj, confirmed the fact that Altin Isaraj was arrested by the Greek authorities on suspicion of drug trafficking. Burgaj made no further comment regarding Isaraj's arrest, a name that has long been in the Albanian police files. Reliable sources of “GSH” said that Isaraj is suspected of cocaine trafficking and that another person, also an Albanian citizen whose name was not made public, was arrested with him. Altin Isaraj is not an unknown figure to the Albanian police. In 1995, he was accused of, in cooperation with Artan Manari and Artan Muça, killing Altin Celmeta and wounding two other people.
