MINUTES OF THE DEBATE IN THE PARLIAMENTARY SECURITY COMMITTEE 100,000 GUN LICENSES PD-PS: A problem for national security Licenses for carrying hunting weapons, suspicion: only 10,000 are real hunters. Oketa: Crime is increasing in the country. Sterkaj: There is also human hunting The parliamentary Committee on National Security debated at length on 26 October 2011 the draft law proposed by the government “On some additions and amendments to Law no. 10 253, dated 1.03.2010 ‘On hunting’.” The reason was precisely the authorization to buy hunting weapons for a large number of people (100,000), 90% of whom appear not to be professional hunters. For this reason, democratic and socialist MPs on this committee described the fact as alarming in terms of security and public order.
