The 35-year-old was the administrator of the “Rock n’Roll” pub on Elbasani Street By ARTUR KORRIKU Yesterday, a 35-year-old man, a well-known businessman in Tirana, was shot from very close range with a firearm in the city of Durrës and consequently died at the scene. The wound was fatal because it struck him in the eye area, passing straight through the skull. The perpetrator was careful, as he remembered to remove the shell casing from the scene, eliminating an important piece of evidence from the crime scene. At first, it was thought that the victim had been executed with a shotgun, but that version was then cast into doubt because experts said the killing may have been carried out with a pistol fitted with a silencer. According to the police, the perpetrator was accompanied by another person and the two, after the killing, fled through the alleys that cross that area.
