Prosecutor’s Office: Artan Kristo, back to prison CHARGED WITH TERRORIST PROPAGANDA, RELEASED ON APPEAL Request for the new measure in the Supreme Court, Muhamed Abdullahi is being tried in Durrës for carrying out “folk medicine.” Charge: Fraud with serious consequences The Prosecutor’s Office is seeking to send back to prison the cleric Artan Kristo, who was accused some time ago of “public calls and propaganda for committing criminal acts for terrorist purposes.” Through a request filed with the Supreme Court, the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office is asking for the personal security measure of “arrest in prison” to be imposed on the person under investigation, Artan Kristo. Meanwhile, sources from the prosecutor’s office in the coastal city told “Gazeta Shqiptare” that this request is related to the court proceedings currently under way at the Durrës Court, where Artan Kristo is charged with the criminal offense of “fraud with serious consequences.” The Durrës District Court is conducting the trial against Artan Kristo for the criminal offense of “fraud.” This charge was brought against him back when he was arrested nine months ago in Shkozet, Durrës.
