Edi Rama, in his haste as the country's new prime minister, will begin with the oath on the Constitution and then sit in the chair of the head of government. On the day he climbs the stairs to the second floor of the Prime Minister's Office building, Rama will find everything ready to begin work. Sali Berisha has prepared all the documentation for the smooth continuity of government work. The files will be handed over by the Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office, Gjergj Lezhja. Sources close to the prime minister say there will be no ceremony for the transfer of power between the two prime ministers, but Lezhja will handle the symbolic protocol for the occasion. On the day he takes up the new post, Edi Rama will be received at the Prime Minister's Office by the Secretary General and the head of Protocol, Nadia Qesja. Sources from the Prime Minister's Office said that Berisha has not made it mandatory for a special ceremony to be held for his successor Edi Rama, nor to receive him in his office in order to hand over the work.
