The chairman of the PS, Edi Rama, who is at the same time the country’s new prime minister, revealed on Thursday in the program “Zona e debatit”, on “Klan Kosova”, to journalist Baton Haxhiu, the story of his two turtles, which have been baptized with the names Sali and Fatos. Beyond politics, Rama spoke about films, the books he reads, and the music he listens to.
Let’s start with the turtles that have been staying in your office at the PS. What will happen to the turtles? The turtles will come with me to the other office, of course. Their story is very simple. A friend of mine, an artist, had been found in Senegal many years earlier, and he told me something about people who have asthma, and since I have had asthma problems, it is good to keep turtles in the place where they stay. One night, while returning from Elbasan, I saw in the car headlights a turtle crossing the road. I told the driver “stop and pick it up” and I took the turtle. Then I took another one as well.
