My Kalashnikov jammed By KLODIANA LALA For the first time, the account of one of the officers who took part in the operation to arrest Dritan Dajti, one of the most wanted men, is revealed; unfortunately, it ended with the killing of four officers from the special operational squad. F.G., one of the officers of the surveillance unit, whom the defendant Dajti has singled out in the accusation, describing him as the perpetrator of Saimir Duckollari’s murder, told investigators everything that happened on 7 August 2009 at the place known as the “Iliria” track, where the police operation to capture the most wanted man turned into a bloody battlefield. Questioned by the serious crimes prosecutor Henrik Ligori, the police officer recounts in detail the whole sad story, from the moment they called him to take part in the operation, the journey to Durrës with Saimir Duckollari, who unfortunately would never return alive.
