BERISHA: PS-LSI BRING BACK DUSHAN MUGOSHA DS-LSI, now as two partners in the coalition “Alliance for a European Albania,” will move through their new cohabitation on the basis of a charter of principles. This package of principles was signed yesterday by the chairman of the PS, Edi Rama, and that of the LSI, Ilir Meta, also in the presence of representatives of the European socialist and social democratic parties, in the city of Shkodra. In this document, the two left-wing parties promise to bring Albania into the EU within the span of two governing mandates. The same principles, the agreement states at the end, will be taken into account in drafting the agreement ahead of the 2015 local elections. It was written in 1985 and is in a sense dedicated to the breakdown of Albania’s relations with the Soviet Union. How did ordinary people experience this event that caused a storm? This piece of the writer’s literature, with a great message to convey, is dedicated to a married couple in Albania. The woman is called Nina, and her burial tells us a great deal about the troubled times, which hung in the air like feathers, times when nothing stirred, although one thing enters a “narrow grave,” kilometers away from the one in which it was born. ...
