In this way, Article 34 of Law No. 10418 dated 21.04.2011 “On the Legalization of Capital and the Forgiveness of a Portion of Tax and Customs Debt” changes the date of December 31, 2011 to December 31, 2013. However, the right-wing proposal for a full amnesty, which included not only the cancellation of fines but also the legalization of assets and capital, did not win the opposition’s support. As in April 2011, when the law for broad fiscal forgiveness was first presented, the opposition refused to vote for it, arguing yesterday that it is an electoral law. The fiscal amnesty entered into force in May 2011, initially scheduled to end at the end of this year.
