The chairman of the PS, Edi Rama, who is also the country’s new prime minister, revealed on Thursday on the program “Zona e debatit”, on “Klan Kosova”, to journalist Baton Haxhiu, the story of his two turtles, which have been christened with the names Sali and Fatos. Beyond politics, Rama spoke about films, the books he reads and the music he listens to.
Let’s start with the turtles that have taken refuge in your office at the PS. What will become of the two turtles?
The turtles will come with me to the other office, of course. Their story is very simple. A friend of mine, an artist, had been to Senegal many years earlier and told me that people who have asthma problems, and I have had asthma problems, should keep turtles where they stay. One night while returning from Elbasan, I saw in the car lights a turtle crossing the road. I told the driver “stop and take it,” and we took the turtle. Then we took another one too.
