Around 105 thousand members of this political force have been called to elect the new leader for the first time through the principle of “one member, one vote.” Voting will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m. Lulzim Basha, candidate for the post of PD leader, last night asked for the vote of confidence of the Democrats in order to unite in the battle to bring the PD back to power. Before his supporters gathered at the “Pallace of Congresses,” Mr. Basha, at the closing rally of the election campaign, launched strong accusations against Socialist leader Edi Rama for stealing the June 23 vote, while promising firm opposition to the “pair of rogue abusers” Rama-Meta. “The opponent has deep complexes with the legacy and identity of our political force.
