PS: They are being sold below market value By LORENC RABETA While it has intensified the auctions of public property for the month of August, the government has also put up for sale what remained from the pyramid schemes: an apartment owned by the foundation “Demokracia Popullore Xhaferri” and a hotel of “VEFA” sh.p.k. What stands out is the very low value at which the two objects were put up for auction by the Directorate for Administration and Sale of Public Property, a structure of the Ministry of Finance. The apartment of the “Xhaferri” foundation, according to this directorate, is worth 569,124 lek, while VEFA’s hotel is worth 341,280 lek. The apartment owned by the foundation “Demokracia Popullore Xhaferri”, located in the center of Belsh in Elbasan, will go up for auction on 7 August, precisely at 11:00. In the explanatory material for the auction, the Directorate for Administration and Sale of Public Property states that its area is 56.17 square meters, with a total value of 569,124 lek.
