The instructions and concerns of the head of the new government In two intensive days of the informal government meeting, Edi Rama summed them up with a single line on “Facebook”: “The tasks are ours, the power belongs to the people,” suggesting that the mission of the new cabinet must be work in the service of citizens. On Thursday morning, the incoming Prime Minister, Edi Rama, convened the second meeting of the new executive, a gathering that lasted about 3 hours and concluded around 12:30, and, as discussed, remained closed to the media. After giving the ministers his final directives, the incoming Prime Minister scheduled a meeting with the mayors and municipal leaders of the Vlora district, as well as with the left-wing deputies of that district. It is understood that the future head of government, who is also the deputy for Vlora, asked the heads of the municipalities and communes to complete the projects, since work on their implementation will begin very soon. The issue of unauthorized construction along the coastline was also an important topic of discussion.
