Rama at the UN: We do not have the bad image projected by Hollywood Prime Minister Edi Rama stated yesterday that he had asked for the opposition’s cooperation to make the necessary changes to the Law on the Civil Service and to have it approved in Parliament. In an interview with “Voice of America”, Rama said: “We have no plans for purges. We have a major state-building project.” Mr. Rama, before receiving the vote of confidence, you said that you had finished defining the benchmarks for the first 100 days and the first 300 days of the government. What will be the first interventions, the first objectives you have? In practice, you have already started. The work of the first 100 days has begun, work in every direction, with concrete actions in every field, actions aimed at deeply shaking up an entire administration that is completely drowsy, demotivated and has lost its drive, and on which we will rely strongly. But, on the other hand, also to strike in those aspects and directions where we have identified that a fight against corruption must begin and the battle to build a state in service of citizens.
