The son kills his mother by throwing her from the fourth floor of the apartment building where they lived, after an argument over completely trivial reasons. D. Marku, 34, three days after burying his father, also took the life of his mother, P. Marku. The घटना occurred three weeks ago and D. Marku has been arrested as a suspect in the serious family crime, which in recent weeks has reached alarming levels. At first it was thought to be an accidental घटना and that the woman may have thrown herself from the building, after her husband’s death. But later, investigations revealed that it was a family murder and suspicions fell directly on the son of Prenda Marku. The 34-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder because of family ties and is expected to appear today before the Serious District Court to be informed of the security measure, since the Shkodër Court has declared itself incompetent to handle the case.
