By ANASTAS JANULLATOS Prof. Dr. Frashëri in his latest article (Gazeta Shqiptare, 22-23/9/2013), again began with inaccuracies. He speaks of “the critical articles that were published over the last three years.” There is absolutely no question of “critical articles,” but of some ill-conceived pamphlets. The first three saw the light of publication in the autumn of 2010 and the other two came out most recently. Mr. Frashëri does not count them correctly. I had never given any reason, nor had I ever said a single word against Mr. Frashëri. On the contrary, I had always shown appreciation. Suddenly, on 14 September 2010, eighteen years after the substantial closing of the Archbishop’s responsibility, he publicly came out with a defamatory accusation. In Gazeta Shqiptare, two more pamphlets followed (9-10/10/2010 and 16-17/11/2010), in which he made further slanders with a strange aggressiveness.
