Edip Ohri was born in August 1926 in Struga, Macedonia. He comes from a well-known family from Ohrid and his surname [?]. His father was a member of the club of Albanians from Ohrid. In 1936, his father emigrated to Albania. The reason was the children’s education, because in old Yugoslavia only primary school was offered to Albanians. His father was appointed municipal chairman in Shënavlash, Durrës. Unfortunately, after six months his father died and the four children were left orphaned. Edip was assigned to the Kastriot boarding school in Peshkopi. After his father’s death, they grew up in extreme poverty, because all the property remained in Struga. His mother remarried in 1937, when she was 28 years old,... On pages 16-17
