A married couple drowned on the beach of Qerret in Kavajë while trying to save their child from the sea waves. While the 6-year-old boy was brought ashore, his parents Sinan and Luljeta Shala, aged 46 and 43 respectively, lost their lives. Official sources from the Durrës County Police Directorate and the Kavajë police report that the serious incident occurred yesterday afternoon. After carrying out preliminary investigations, police said that holidaymakers at a tourist village had been the ones who saved the child and tried to help the two victims, but they were only able to bring their minor son out alive. After learning the housework, the spouses Sinan and Luljeta Shala from the village of Qerret (of Kosovar origin), together with their four children, went to the beach for a holiday. Around 6:00 p.m., Luljeta Shala saw the 6-year-old boy (the youngest of the children) being swept away...
