Nikolla: Scandalous situation By ERMELINDA HOXHAJ The Ministry of Education and Sport yesterday shed light on the number of teachers who are outside their field or without the relevant education in pre-university education institutions. The data were made public by the Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, during the presentation of the report on the inspection of human resources in the pre-university education institutions in the country, where, according to her, the inspections found more than 5,000 teachers teaching outside the field for which they graduated or without the relevant education. The data emerging from the inspection were considered shocking by the minister, while in her speech she also dwelt on the reforms to be undertaken in education, whose aim is the quality of teaching and that in every class there will be only teachers of the relevant field. Re-licensing from scratch of all teachers who are in the education system is one of the steps. On page 11
