The new law “On social insurance”, which entered into force on 1 January 2015, establishes the removal of the maximum old-age pension cap, which means that calculations will be made according to a completely new formula. Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers has defined all the elements (the wage indexation coefficient from 1994, the amount of the social pension and the reference salary for workers of former agricultural cooperatives), which make it possible to calculate the pension amount.
